Crossroads Earns a Huge Win
The Roadrunners had a successful meeting with Windward, walking away with a 7-0 victory. Brody Abowitz scored the first goal expertly chipping the goalkeeper after a nice assist from Cole Zytko. With the score at 1-0 goalkeeper, Jackson Simon pulled off an excellent fingertip save from a long-range shot.
Cole got himself a goal at the end of the first half to make it 2-0. Will Nicholas scored the goal of the game with a superb 30 yard strike into the top corner. Liam Shifflet then made it 4 tapping in from close range after good work down the wing from Brody. Cole grabbed his second finishing off a good passing move. Defender Adam Lipp rounded off the scoring, blasting home from a corner kick to cap off another very impressive team performance from Crossroads.
