Boys JV Basketball beat Viewpoint 73-57

In their final game of the season, the Roadrunners beat Viewpoint 73-57.  At the half, Crossroads only had a narrow 44-43 lead.  It was after making some adjustments and nailing down their defense going into the second that Crossroads gained momentum.  They held the Patriots to a meager 17 points through the third and fourth quarter as they pressed and methodically wore them down.  Nils Cooper, William Phillips, Jake Dimuro and Zion Watt led the defensive strike, terrorizing the guards and forcing several turnovers.  Nils finished the game with 11 points while Nick Siegel contributed double digit rebounds and finished the night with 12 points.  Henry Glickman shot the ball well, finishing with 12 points while Isaiah Chappell was active on both ends of the floor, contesting shots and making his own 11 points as teammate Miles Burton chipped in 7 points.  It was what Coach Travon Muhammad called a “great team win and a great way to end the season!”
