Girls Soccer beat New West Charter 2-1
The Roadrunners started the new decade with a win against New West on Tuesday. Bella di Rienzo delivered a corner to Zoe Simmons Crossroads in the 4th minute who sent it into the net and put the team on top in the fourth minute of play. Both teams had opportunities that didn’t come to fruition, but Crossroads once again scored the next goal in the 65th minute from Mia Brisbin off of a penalty kick. New West got a late goal in 78th minute, but Crossroads was able to hold them off, finishing on top 2-1.
