Team Red Ends Year With Decisive Win
In regards to their game against WNS, Coach Jonah Rampe said, “this was a great road win to close out 2019… with a very good practice the day before, the team took a big step forward.” The team was engaged and focused throughout the entire game with nine players once again scoring and everyone pitching in on defense. Owen S. and Hudson each contributed 12 points followed closely by Owen A. with 11 and Konrad Karmindro with 8. “The key to the game was defensive communication,” said Coach Rampe who noted that the Roadrunners held the opponent to zero points in the fourth quarter. Rex Grube and Grant Hamilton had breakout contributions, calling out screens and getting steals. “I’m excited to carry this momentum over into the new year,” concluded Coach Jonah.
