Girls Varsity Tennis beat Milken 17-1
The Roadrunners beat Milken 17-1 on Thursday afternoon. “Everyone played well,” said Coach Albert Ionidi noting that all three singles players (Claire Sures, Hanna Dessie and Katrina Sorochinsky) swept their matches. The doubles teams also went to work with impressive performances from Gaby Horwitch and Ariana Kalili, Sydney Hayes and Daiela Simon-Seay, Lizzie Brooks and Katie Aronson. Anna Walley stepped in with Lizzie for a couple matches where they boasted a win as well. Overall it was an exciting match for the Roadrunners who are preparing for upcoming league competition.
