Girls JV Tennis lost to Brentwood 0-15

Marley Abowitz ran her opponents around non stop with her stellar groundstrokes at 1 singles. 

Layla Fakki battled her way through long, amazing rallies at 2 singles. 

Haley Summers and Stella Oman kept their opponents on their toes with great gets to tough shots and strong volley winners. 

Coco Russell and Amelia Ortiz played at 2 doubles continuously closed the net and finished points quickly.

Coming in at 3 doubles, Emma Finkel and Jamison Dean used great defensive forehands and quick reactions at the net.

 

Even though we ended up losing 0-15 to Brentwood today, the score does not reflect the level of play. Everyone put in the extra effort to get to the tough shots and play a little harder and in my opinion, that's what's important. We are looking forward to another great match against Brentwood this next week.
