Crossroads Varsity Roadrunner Stymied By Animo Venice

Crossroads Varsity Roadrunner had trouble keeping up with Animo Venice in a 20-3 loss on Tuesday at Clover Park.

Animo Venice got on the board in the top of the first inning after Guerrero doubled, scoring two runs, Perez singled, scoring one run, Maradiaga grounded out, scoring one run, Osoria drew a walk, scoring one run, an error scored one run, and Guerrero drew a walk, scoring one run.

Animo Venice added one run in the second after Godino walked.

Animo Venice added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Beltran hit into a fielder's choice, Martinez walked, Maradiaga walked, and Baker singled, each scoring one run.

Crossroads Varsity Roadrunner scored two runs in the bottom of the fifth on an inside the park home run by Womack.
