Upper Schoolers launched the league this winter amongst local high schools.
Tenth graders Samantha Leeds and Hannah Carey, alongside twins Boone and Ford Casady (who play on the Professional Pickleball Association’s junior circuit), were recently featured in the LA Times for starting LA's first-ever high school pickleball league. The league's inaugural tournament will be played later this month, with teams from other local schools including Pali, Brentwood, Windward, Notre Dame and Santa Monica Pacifica Christian all participating.
