Crossroads Named Among Top Innovative K-12 Schools
School is called “a model for other progressive schools across the country.”
Crossroads has been named one of the 41 Most Innovative K-12 Schools in America by Noodle, a website that offers education information and resources. The honor comes after a team of education experts examined the School among thousands of public, private and charter schools in the country.
Noodle is the brainchild of John Katzman, founder of the Princeton Review. In addition to their revolutionary approach to teaching, Noodle said the distinguished schools that made its inaugural list have created new, aspirational models of what K-12 education can be.
“We’re excited to be recognized in Noodle’s ranking of the top innovative K-12 schools in America,” said Head of School Bob Riddle. “At Crossroads, we pride ourselves on the exceptional education our students receive, the remarkably imaginative teachers we retain and the dynamic, forward-thinking and groundbreaking curriculum we offer. We’re thrilled to be commended for what sets our School apart.”
Suzanne Podhurst, editor-in-chief of Noodle, added, “This year’s top 41 institutions exemplify new ways of addressing educational challenges and encouraging students to thrive. All of the featured schools are making a demonstrable impact on the students they serve—and on the larger education space. At Noodle, we are shining a spotlight on the schools that are redefining education and creating exciting opportunities for their students.”
