Defense wins games!

After a slow start, the Roadrunners ended the first quarter trailing Calvary Christian 2–13. The team’s defense stepped up in a big way, led by Sadie K, Lola K, and Emma F, who limited scoring opportunities and held their opponents to zero points in the second half. That tough defense ignited the offense, allowing the Roadrunners to take the lead in the third quarter.

The team showed grit, determination, and heart throughout the game, holding Calvary Christian to just four points in the third quarter. Big defensive stops and steals created fast-break opportunities and open shots, ultimately leading to a hard-earned and well-deserved victory. 🏀💪
