Senior Emma Finkel Honored in Final Match
In their final match of the season, the Roadrunners honored their senior teammate, Emma Finkel. Emma teamed up with Coco Russell at #3 doubles where they showed off their consistent serves and groundstrokes for an impressive final team performance of the season. Layla and Marley stepped up in #1 and #2 singles while Stella and Haley finished their season with long rallies that resulted in two intense tie-breakers. Amelia and Scarlett rounded out the doubles performances with solid work at the net. Despite losing to the Eagles, Coach Fortson was proud of his players noting that they “left it all on the court.”
