In an effort to support the socio-economic diversity of our summer student population, a limited number of affordability grants (formerly known as financial aid) are available to lower the cost of summer classes. Grants are based on demonstrated need.
The affordability grant application process is slightly different for non-Crossroads and Crossroads students, so please read information below on how to apply.
For Non-Crossroads Students
List of 2 items.
Grades 1-5 and 6-12 (for non-Academic Credit Classes)
Follow this link to complete the online application. Completed application deadline is end of day on May 2. Applications will be reviewed as they are received and awards will be offered starting May 6. Priority consideration will be given to students living in the Pico neighborhood.
Grades 9-12 (Needing Academic Credit Classes)
This deadline is ongoing as we understand that students may not know which course(s) are needed until later in May or June.
For Crossroads students requesting a discount on Summer programs, please use the regular online Summer enrollment forms and simply indicate on the form that your child is currently receiving an Affordability grant. No separate financial aid/affordability grant application is necessary.
The discount for Summer programs is equal to your child’s percentage of Affordability Grant that you receive toward our regular school-year tuition. Payment will not be required until courses and the awards are confirmed. Once payment is due, it will be communicated and handled through Student Billing.
