Roadrunners Play Well on the Road
Thursday they lost to a deep Santa Monica High School team, 12-6. Michael contributed with a win at one singles while Charles came close in two of his three (4-6, 5-7), matching well with tough competition. Michael and Emilio along with Nathan Wintrop and Alex Bowles teamed up to go two for three on the day while Adam Baradaran and Caspar von Alvensleben won one. “I am happy with how we fought all the way to the end,” said Coach Ionidi, “our freshmen are showing a lot of composure already just after a couple games at the high school level.”
