Crossroads Senior Makes ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Debut

Professional actor expands range as performer on hit television series.
Milo Manheim is a full-time Crossroads student and a professional actor—and now he’s a competitive dancer, too.

The Crossroads senior made his “Dancing with the Stars” television debut this month, showcasing his flair and footwork alongside professional dancer Witney Carson. As one of the youngest competitors in the program’s 27-season history, he is making sure to relish the opportunity.

“Being on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ has been the greatest experience of my life,” Milo says. “Not only am I getting an amazing dance education, but I am meeting some of the most incredible people.”

Milo, who has starred in recent School productions like “Chicago” and “Almost, Maine,” held a leading role in the Disney Channel movie “Zombies,” which was released earlier this year.

Crossroads has helped him hone his acting, singing and dancing skills. And his experience away from the theater, he says, has been equally enriching.

“I am so lucky to be a student at Crossroads because it has taught me to stay focused and to be true to myself no matter what,” Milo says. “I want to thank the Crossroads faculty and staff for making this experience possible, and I want to thank my Crossroads peers for keeping my feet on the ground.”
