    Do you have a voice and want to be heard? Then the Crossroads Adult Chorus is the place for you! The Adult Chorus is a mixed-voice ensemble consisting entirely of members of our community. Everyone is welcome, regardless of previous experience with music or choral singing. The ensemble will have weekly rehearsals and singers are encouraged to participate at the level of their comfort and ability. All styles of music are performed, culminating in a minimum of four performance opportunities throughout the school year.

With some audience participation, an engaging, tuneful score by William Finn and a sweet, funny book by Rachel Sheinkin, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee causes audiences to fall in love, both with the show and its spellers.

    DIS…MISS is a public visual art experience, with digital media and performance art components.
    Crossroads Upper School students will be engaging in dialogues around evolving perceptions and attitudes about gender and 4th wave feminism. The videos and images present nuanced imagery and ideas on these complex topics as they simultaneously aim to confront stubborn inequalities and stereotypes in our culture today.
     
    These audience engagements will take the form of screenings, workshops and discussions.

    (From the opening of WORKING):  "In 1974, Chicago radio broadcaster Studs Terkel published a best selling compilation of interviews with a cross section of Americans talking about their jobs.  In 2007-2008 additional interviews were conducted.  Terkel described it as 'the extraordinary dreams of ordinary people'.  These are there words."

    In song and dance and story, our 9th and 10th grade performers will be fresh off a 5-day tour of their musical and eager to share their work with the Crossroads community.
