Crossroads Gets Green
Crossroads has a long history that involves environmental awareness.

The Environmental and Outdoor Education (EOE) program has three instructors dedicated to teach students to understand the earth and its ecosystems, humans' impact on the planet, and our impact on each other.  As part of the EOE program, students have the opportunity to participate is overnight and day trips.

Our campus exemplifies the school's commitment to environmental sustainability, whether it is with our composting system, our outdoor garden or our use of recyclable food service serving materials.

The Crossroads Green Committee spearheads many of these schoolwide efforts to make our school as green as it can be.

What's New
No More Single-Use Water Bottles
We are no longer selling or distributing water in single-use water bottles on campus!

Our water fountains are filtered. And on 21st Street we have a Glacier Water vending machine in the alley in front of the theater. This machine dispenses two quanties of water - 20 ounces for .25 and 33 ounces for .35 cents. A percentage of the profits are returned to the school.

Students, employees and visitors to campus are encouraged to bring a reusable canteen, bottle or cup for daily drinking needs.
