Crossroads School Santa Monica California

Crossroads Alumni Association
The purpose of the Alumni Association is to strengthen, broaden, and deepen the alumni-school connection; to extend the community of the School in a supportive and active way through programs, school and community activities, and events which embody the philosophy of Crossroads School; and to actively increase participation in the Alumni Change-A-Life campaign, which helps support the School's Tuition Reduction Fund (formerly known as Financial Aid).

The Alumni Association invites and encourages all alumni to participate in Crossroads' multi-faceted community life in ways that correspond to their interests, and are in concert with the needs and goals of the school.

The Change-A-Life Alumni Campaign was created by our alums as an annual fundraising effort, the proceeds of which provide financial assistance to current families through the Tuition Reduction Fund.
One of the most important and gratifying aspects of life at Crossroads is the enduring relationship that our alumni maintain with the School and with each other. Alumni participate in Ten, Twenty, and Thirty Year Reunions, as well as all-class East and West Coast Reunions. Other events aimed specifically at alumni have included the Alumni Art Show, the Alumni Classical Concert, All-Class Alumni Picnic, Alumni vs. Varsity Soccer and Volleyball matches, the  the Alumni Authors Evening, "Who's Got Game?" alumni basketball event, and Alumni Theatre Events.  Alumni are also welcome at school-wide events such as the Alley Party, the Sports Extravaganza, and the annual Parent Association Spring Event.

The Crossroads Alumni Advisory Council, made up of about a dozen active volunteers, is charged with expanding our alumni program and developing more activities and events to strengthen the involvement of Crossroads alumni in the daily life of the School.

The Change-A-Life Alumni Fund was created in 1993-1994. Our alumni chose to embark on an annual fundraising campaign, the proceeds of which provide financial assistance to current families through the Tuition Reduction Fund. There is no greater example of the School Philosophy than former students helping deserving young people gain access to a Crossroads education. And no greater confirmation that our founding principles of diversity, inclusion, and commitment to community remain with our students as they move into the larger world.
