Join us for monthly Saturday evenings of film appreciation! Enjoy wine and cheese or other craftfully selected foods, then attend a film screening followed by provocative commentary and in-depth discussion with Jim Hosney. This semester film salon studies the ways that Los Angeles has been represented in the movies, from the noir visions of Double Indemnity, Chinatown, LA Confidential, and Devil in a Blue Dress, to the satiric vision of LA in the sixties in The Loved One, and the futuristic vision of 2019 LA in Bladerunner.
