BEYOND THE SCHOOL DAY: Since most students carpool from dozens of diverse communities in the Los Angeles area, the bulk of student clubs meet during the school day, especially during lunch. Clubs sponsor bake sales, poetry readings, guest speakers, performances, and letter-writing campaigns. Crossroads, however, is far from quiet when the dismissal bell rings. At right are just a few examples of after school activities.

ATHLETICS: Our competitive sports program includes cross-country, basketball, flag football, soccer, volleyball, tennis, softball, golf, swimming, and track and field. All sports are available for both boys and girls except for softball, which is all girls. Many sports have multiple teams to meet student demand. Our teams compete in either of two different leagues--The Delphic and Pacific Basin Leagues-- to ensure an appropriate level of challenge for our athletes.
DRAMA: The Middle School Players is the outlet for thespians in grades six - eight. Since 1996, the Players have provided Middle School students with opportunities in theatre. Rehearsals are generally held after school from three to five o'clock, with time increasing as the production date approaches. Technical theater opportunities exist for students interested in design, construction, lighting, sound, and other vital supportive roles.
LIBRARY & COMPUTER ROOM: The Paul Cummins Library is open and supervised daily until six o'clock. The Middle School computer room is open daily until five o'clock. Each of two computer rooms has twenty networked computers, each with Internet access.
EOE: The Environmental Outdoor Education program offers after-school, weekend, and overnight activities that include sailing, kayaking, outrigger canoeing, and climbing. It is open to students, parents, and faculty.
ADDITIONAL PROGRAMS: Independent, fee-based classes are offered in the arts for interested students.
