THE ALLEY PARTY: Early in the school year, all Crossroads families are invited to celebrate the beginning of the new year by attending the annual Alley Party held at the 21st Street Campus. Music, games, and food make this day a special one for all.

THE ANNUAL ART SHOW:
One of the culminating events of each year is the Elementary School Art Show. Each child in the Elementary School is represented in the show.

THE BOOK FAIR: Parents plan a Book Fair each year prior to the holidays. The Book Fair raises money for the school library.

FRIDAY GATHERINGS: Every Friday the entire Elementary School community gathers to celebrate the human spirit through lighting candles, singing, and listening to a presentation by a guest or a class. Parents are welcome to attend.

ROSE GATHERINGS: The Rose Gatherings begin and end the school year as fifth grade children greet kindergarten students and as the kindergarten children send fifth grade students off to the Middle School.

SPRING COMMUNITY EVENT: In the spring there is usually an event for children, teachers, and parents which is designed to build community and to highlight a particular curricular area. In the past, such events have been Jogathons, Readathons, May Madness (a noncompetitive field day), and an Earth Day Hoe Down, and Arts Day.

THE VARIETY SHOW: The Student Council often sponsors an all-school variety show in the spring. Any child who auditions and is prepared may participate.
