CHILD CARE: Morning child care is offered beginning at 7:30 a.m. each day.

HANG OUT is the name for the after school child care program. The program runs from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily on school days and from 7:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on most pupil-free days. Hang Out has three components:

1--DAILY CARE: For daily participation, Hang Out includes outside play, a hearty and healthy snack, and a wonderful variety of activities including creative arts, dramatic play, educational games, and cooking.

2--THE ENRICHMENT PROGRAM: Three sessions of enrichment classes are offered throughout the year. Examples of the wide array of class offerings are Junior Great Books, sports clinics, Chinese, climbing, tennis, ceramics, photography, cartooning, woodworking, drama, rhythmic gymnastics, and yoga. Children who participate in the Enrichment Program classes enjoy a hearty snack after school before the class begins.

3--DROP-IN AFTER SCHOOL CARE: Parents of children who are not enrolled in five-day care or enrichment classes may purchase credit which is good for 10 hours of Hang Out and may be used as needed during the school year. The school must be notified by 11:00 a.m. on the day a parent wishes a child to participate.
